Long long queue to renew green IC
I went to the immigration to have my IC renewed and was told by the lady at the counter that there are no more queue numbers and I have to come back the next day. She said be early or there will be no numbers left. She said 630am!
So I went back the next day and got there at 615am. To my shock, there are already lots of cars in the parking lot. I went in and the security guards pointed to the queue. There was a tent setup for the queue but it was already full. I was told to queue behind the long line outside the tent. I was told the people in the tent were there as early as 3am. Yes, 3am!!!
At 7am, the queue started to move and then the people around 30 places in front of me started to walk away after speaking to the security guard at the front. Then to my disapointment, I was told no more queue numbers. Apparrently you have to be there at early as 5am to get a queue number!
Why cant they allow online renewal? Afterall they already have our data, biomatrix fingerprint, phtoto, etc.

There do not seem to be any improvements with the queue. There are at 30-50K foreigners in Brunei who requires their IC to be made.
How can a mere 100 persons per day that Immigration is currently processing able to clear the queue?
