Brunei Syariah Laws. No hopes for people?

Post by Human Rights » Mon Apr 01, 2019 12:04 pm

Brunei Syariah laws will be activated in a few days time on April 3, 2019.
How will the citizens be treated? What about the non-Muslims? Will they be affected? What about the LGBT community? Will they be stoned to death?
I have to admit. I am a gay and I live in Brunei. It is not that I choose to be gay. I am born like that. Please don't judge me.
What will happen to me? I don't want to migrate. I want to stay with my friends and family. Despite being gay, I have many understanding friends of which most of them are straight and family who accepted my sexual orientation.
What shall I do?

Well, I think you should seek treatment. I pray for you to go straight.
We should defend our decision to apply these laws. Here is one postings that some may agree or disagree.

Hadi,
That's very racist and I don't believe the general locals are like that. I have many local Bruneian friends and I found them to be nice and kind people. This Brunei Defender guy is certainly an Supermacist. He sound dangerous.

Damage already done, Brunei reputation is tarnished after so many negative reports on the 'stoning to death' appeared in all major western media.
It is no point just posting on social media to defend the Syariah law and to defend your racist view, no body would care!!! why not call for for an International Press Conference to clarify and defending your position, perhaps the world would understand Brunei better, and ask all international media to withdraw their unfair negative reports on the law!! If not, take them to International Court.... how about that. If you don't fight back, western media would assume you accepted their criticism. SILENCE IS CONSENT!! When somebody hit you, you don't return?

tamade,
Yes, call for an international press conference. It will exposed all the human rights abuses.

I am sharing this that I received.
Assalamualaikum my fellow Bruneian brothers and sisters. Masa ani heboh pasal si REFUJI ani.

Aku sarankan, ada baik nya kalau tani ignore kedia ani. Jgn tah di share, dibuka, dicomment lagi fb nya ani. Kalau perlu comment pun elak kan comment beremosi. Sbb apa?

1. Ia perlu KECAMAN
Makin kitani kecam bererti tani menulung kedia.. Bhapa tani tulung jelama macam atu.. Bila ia inda dpt buktikan lagi yg kedia memerlukan perlindungan. Otomatik kedia kena antar balik tu.

2. Ia mau jadi HERO
Kamu pikir ia mau balik Brunei lagi kah? Aku rasa inda.. So masa ani ia ambil kesempatan lah untuk UP dirinya disana. Kononnya ia ani pejuang.. Makin tani kecam. Makin tinggi rating nya makin tia ia kana gunai oleh media2 fitnah sana atu. Lagi sekali, bhapa tani tulung ia femes? Ignore saja post nya atu.

3. Kesian
Aku kesian kan keluarganya yg disini.. Anak beulah diskulah sudah indung rasa malu.. Apatah lagi ani, yg memalukan negara.. Mudahan keluarganya tabah menghadapi keulahan bunguk si REFUJI ani.

Pendek cerita ignore saja tia. Jgn ditulung kedia ani. Perhatian atu yg dimaukannya banar2 tu. Kenapatah ia malar tag #brunei walhalnya ia mengakun ia urg kanada sudah.

Jom ignore si #refuji
